a beautiful song of the Year 1952 when Talat Mahmood ji was on top of his career and Dilip kumar too . song was composed by Music director Khayyam who got a big boost in his professional career for making this immortal composition in the film industry

@bhupindersinghpujji a retired forest officer frm jammu(j&k) music is in my blood frm childhood. bsides harmonium i was interested in voilin. nature of my hard job didnt allow me so no practice. i concentrated on mouth organ put it in the pocket sit in between pine forests & play the melodies of 50s to 80s. twas so njoyable cant xplain. u r lucky 2 meet the gr8 legends which i m longing 4 long. ur interest in music & choice speak of ur high talents. thanx. jagjit singh isher 09419106747

khayyam sahib ka azeem shahkar. one of the best songs of talat mehmood. bhupinder g u r fantastic mind blowing xclent gr8 artist. the show must go on & plz hv some pearls frm madan mohan`s golden treasure. if already exist then plz inform. in fact i m viewing ur channel 4 the 1st time & ur repertoire is xclent extolling. thanx.

You would be delighted to know that while sitting on a double decker top strey Khayyam composed this song keeping rythem on a match box top. He told me in pwerson. What a great melody. I wish you happy singing Talat Mahmood.
